that's pretty cool Shirmp - good site link :)
AJAX is definitely a tight grouping of technologies! I'm planning on using it for some projects at some point. Especially since it's a buzzword right now and I'll probably run into people who want it simple because it's the big thing (that and Ruby on Rails)

that is a nice inovative design!

(just be aware of accessibility: broken back button being one)

Nice menu! I like the drop down thing you have going. You should check out moo.fx ... I'm currently learning javascript, and hopefully I'll get into AJAX ...

Haha, you are totally right, Phil. But you know how it is... I got this crazy idea for what I wanted to do with the navigation, and it wouldn't go away until I dealt with it. So when I had a few minutes yesterday I decided to see what I could do. ;)

Next time I have to devote to the site, though, will indeed be given to the main content pages. ;)

And that comment form is cool!

/me thinks that you should spend time getting the content in your main pages up rather than playing with CSS/Javascript run secondary navigation menus ;)

by the way, I just noticed this for some reason for the first time. Check out this hot commenting form (scroll to the bottom): http://www.airbagindustries.com/archives/008768.php#comments
not surprising as it comes from AirBag, but I still love it. Who does the three main fields in a blog comment field on one line? no one, that's why it rocks. :)

Thank you very much! I'm glad you like the new navigation, and I also very much appreciate the 'subscription'. It's nice to know someone is actually reading. ;)

The dropdowns are very cool -- I'll have to work on something like that for myself. I've added you to my RSS feeds and will be keeping up! Thanks for your comments and flickr feedback.
