If a little gets on her face... well, that's kind of unavoidable. But deliberate shoving of cake INTO FACE, thereby ruining makeup and possibly staining dress, depending on how exuberant you were, does not seem like very much fun. Sure, the bride always smiles and laughs like she thought it was cute, but you know what she's really thinking is "Man, I hope he pays more attention to what I want in our <i>marriage</i>." I suppose that if I had already learned enough about a guy's character to decide to marry him, I would not ditch him because he had a momentary lapse of judgment and shoved cake in my face. But I still probably wouldn't be happy about it. (You can all feel free to come back and laugh at me after I marry the man of my dreams and he shoves cake in my face.) Dennis - Of course not!
