Lost is like 'Gilligan's Island' on speed. I was way over it before the 1st season was even underway. However, my lady has roped me into the 3rd season and yeah, i'm sometimes intrigued, but mostly I get mad at how stupid they think we all are. People are sheep and Lost is just a over-dramatized-gilligan's-island-soa-opera. And the sheep are eating it up... so unfortuneately Gilligan and his crew are destined to live out their unpredictable frustrating silly days on Hawaii. How do I get cast on that show?! Seriously!!! I'll stick with it because it feels comfortable, but I have a sad, dissapointed feeling in my heart when I go to sleep on Thursday nights. Perhaps, perhaps if they threw in at least one scene with Rose and Bernard I'd feel a little more self respect right now, but when it's all Kate, Jack and Sawyer acting like kids with elementary school crushes, it's hard for me to justify why I'm sticking with this show. It can only be a good thing that we're taking a 13 week hiatus. Perhaps I can come back with fresh eyes, and Lost can be the show that it was when we first met in 2004. Great blog! Lost has lost my trust though I continue to watch it because my wife is desperately clinging to the hope that it will somehow turn back into the show it once was.
