Taken this morning in a good friend’s darling kitchen. Both of the bags are mine; the purse was given to me by my parents last Christmas and comes from these folks, and the larger bag I received recently from a friend who made a whole assortment of adorable tote bags over Christmas and happened to have one left over that needed a home. Lucky me!

Change has come to Gutenberg’s kitchen! I spent most of Sunday helping with this new paint job.

Taken yesterday in the kitchen while I did my cooks’ assistant chore. And, for the record, this photo crashed Lightroom twice while I was working on it, so, I dunno, it must have some kinda weird Voodoo…

I saw this driving between church and my parents’ house tonight. I am constantly in awe of the light street lamps cast on winter trees.

I felt an immediate kinship with this little guy when I found him like this on the library table today. I think it’s because I’m getting sick–and somehow that makes it even easier to feel a little bit like a sad elephant. (He does look like he’s feeling sorry for himself, doesn’t he? )
